I really like Nash!  I also like Grier and Garder is different....I *think* I like it because it sounds so close to Carter and I really like that name!

I like Grier.  Don't care for Gretchen but think Greta is very pretty.  Don't like Evalett at all.  Ganon--nope, don't care for it.  Garder (garter) is the thing you wear on your leg when you get married so no, it doesn't work for a name, imo.  Carter on the other hand is one of my favorite boy names.

Love the name Nash tons and I like Gannon quite a lot as well (prefer with two 'n's for some reason)  I really like new and original names, but I prefer ones that are very simple and easy to say.  No one could spell or pronounce my name growing up and so I always suggest that everyone pick a name that is easy for the receptionist at the dentist's office.  Grier and Garder are just going to be constantly stumbled over - I think you will get a lot of Gry-er and Gardner (I kind of like Gardner, do you?  Or maybe Garner?).  Greta and Gretchen are both really popular dog's names I have heard a lot, and so they don't appeal to me as much.  Evalett just isn't right to my ear, but I love the name Evelyn, so I am prejudiced in favor of that variation.

Since you seem to like 'G' names, what do you think of the name Gia for a girl?  I love that name.

Nash is far and away my favorite from all the names you listed, I think you picked a great name for your son.

I agree with all of that - Grier and Greta are great, both classy and beautiful names; Evalett and Garder are big nopes for me.  Instead of Evalett, how about Eva?  And instead of Garder, what about Grayden?  Or Grayson? I know boys with those names and think they're darling and much better than Garder.  I do like Carter, although I think it's overused among our kids' generation.  Nash is a darling name - great choice!

Thanks for all the feed back! I think I'm going to nix the Garder and nix Evalett. I love Grier, like the 1950's actress Grier Garder, but my Hb isn't on board with that one =( I like Beckett, Gannon or Bow or Gretchen or Grier for girls, I do favor G names

I'm very honest! And a BIG Congrats if you're expecting!

Nash is cool, kinda sounds country. Ah, don't go with something too off-the-wall (i.e. Ganon) since he'll have to continuously spell it out for people and repeat it over and over. People will hear Cannon.

My philosophy on names is I like unique but not too odd, and I like names that are easy to say and spell for the child's sake. What is the pronounciation of Evalett? Is it a silent "t" at the end, as in Ee-va-lay or..... is it Ev-ah-LET. I just don't get it..never heard of it so am confused by it. She'd be explaining that her whole life.

What about Gage for a boy? My friend named her son that and it sounds so cool. Or I like Gavin. And I guess Grier is the best girl name and I think (going on your style) Evelyn is OK (more easy to say and spell, and you can shorten it to Evie, since you like Evalett.)

OOHH...don't like Gretchen!!! (Gretchen Retchin...sounds like an old, crabby lady who hates kids on her front lawn.)

GL in being pg and have fun deciding!
