Ovulation Help

Hello,

I am still figuring out this O thing and needed a little help. I got the hang of it but I just want to be 100% sure. My AF started at 9:30pm so I counted that as CD1. On CD 13 (August 6 at 9:30pm) I got a rise in the Clear Blue Easy O kit. On CD 13 which is the next day but I don't go on to the next cycle day until 9:30pm (August 7 at 9:30a) I got a positive with my cheapie O test and First Response O kit. On CD 14 (August 7 at 9:30pm) I got a positive with all 3 O kits. On CD 14 (August 8 at 9:30am) I got a positive with my cheapie O test. On CD 15 (August 8 at 9:30pm) I got a positive with my Clear Blue Easy O kit and finally CD 16 (August 9 at 9:30pm) I got a negative with my cheapie O test and a decline with my Clear Blue Easy O kit. So my question is can any one please tell me when I should DTD TO CONCEIVE A BOY???????????????

From what you have written sounds as though between cd 15 late in the evening and cd 16 in the morning would be when you ovulate, I would personally want to get a more closer reading but if you were to DTD between the cd evening and the cd morning you should be close to Ovulation. Though I have heard that time isnt always everything (I timed mine into 10hrs (Gender unknown still), I also ovulate in the same pattern, 2 days of positives and then negative). I hope that helps. Thank you!  I also felt pain on my side the night of CD14 when I woke up the next morning I still felt it.  I still have a a few months to get it right.  I plan to do my 1st attempt in October.

 butterfly CD = cycle Day and DPO = days past ovulation  Its all pretty easy once you work it out.

GGand B your post sounds exaclty like what i have just experienced! Thats so strange!

CD14 I had some EWCM and i didnt test for OV as i normal get a positive on CD15/16.

We DTD in preperation for our real attempt (2.5 day cut off)

CD15 i had some OV pains in the afternoon and i tested with the cheapies in the night time around 7pm and was getting faint +

CD16 is today and i have had some EWCM this morning, and positive cheapies all day. Started off faint in the morning and tested again at 2pm and the line is much darker.

My attempt will be at 5am tomorrow which SHOULD put me right on OV.

I just hope that i didnt OV on CD15 and my attempt will be an O+12.............

Hi mykiwibaby.  I am so nervous with all of this because with DD2 I DTD one day after O and got a girl this was before I knew about swaying though.  LOL!  So I want to make sure I DTD around 12 hours before O.  I was thinking since I felt the pains on CD14 I was gonna DTD when I start to feel that pain.  The only issue with that is I dont wanna DTD too early.  When I had my pains I had positive OPKs and my cheapie was 2 dark lines so I am assuming I actually O on day 15.  I hope I am right because I am planning my 1st attempt in Octobers cycle.  I am also planning around my biorythym dates and moon signs dates.
