jril - I dont know that I can see a face but I am sure I will be doing the same thing to my u/s. 

Jril - that does really look like a face. Sooooo cute!!

jril - So I have been looking at your u/s and I think that I see what you are talking about. Is the baby's face turned sideways?  Kind of like it is looking to our right?

SoReady, I tried to draw in what I think are the eyes, nose and mouth.  Sorry I don't have anything but paint, so my editing skills aren't very good.  Also did you click on the 006-3jpg?  It enlarges the picture some. 

sapphire1, yay I'm glad I'm not going bonkers, lol.  So far I've asked a couple of friends and they seem to see it as well.

Hey everyone I've been trying to keep up with all that's going on here but really having trouble with gastro (or MS who knows!) and now the whole family have the flu. I knew I should have taken up that free flu vax! I really hope that everyone is starting to feel better and look forward to seeing some more scan pics coming up. The ones so far have been gorgeous!

So yesterday I threw up in the parking lot and some lady came to me to check if everything was ok. I just told her that I have sickness and she understood and asked how far I was along which is almost 10 weeks. She told me another 2 weeks & I'll be fine. In the end she told me that I'll have a girl since I have all this sickness. I told her I just want a healthy baby. But deep down in my heart I'm still rooting to have a son. What do you all think? Thank-you all for listening to me as this is my only platform to share my emotions.

Sapphire1- I think you shouldn't put any stock into that old wives tale. This is by far the worst morning sickness I've ever had. But prior to this one, my DS #2 was the worse. Much worse than I had with my daughter. Everyone reacts differently. For me, every pregnancy I get sicker than the last & it has nothing to do with gender. So don't give up hope yet.

I had my first dream about gender last night. I was having the 12 wk scan and we were looking for the nub shot. Tech said no need to worry about the nub....there's the BOY parts. It's amazing how real the dream seemed. Like I was actually there.

It's amazing what people say Sapphire, I did not have one little bit of sickness with either of my girls, my sister who knows this, said oh u must be having a girl this time if your sick. ummmm...?

It's funny the things that we worry about.  I didnt have any MS with either of my DS's and I am desperately wanting a little girl.  Yesterday and today I think that I might have been feeling a little nausia.  I dont know if it is real or if it is just in my head.  I guess part of me wants to have MS because I'm hoping that a diffrent pregnancy means a different gender.  Is this crazy thinking?   Who wants MS?  LOL 

Lol I wanted MS too soready. So I could feel More at ease about a viable pregnancy and also for the same reason of different symptoms, different gender. I really do not believe it now though. I really do feel for all the ladies who suffer from MS!!

 Well, my MS really kicked in at 11 weeks.  Before that, I'd just have a moment or two of nausea every now and then.  Now, every smell is making me feel sick and I practically have to run for the bathroom as soon as I wake up in the mornings.  I've been having trouble changing diapers and even feeding the cats since the smells are so yucky to me right now.  Certain foods that I normally love have started making me sick.  I'd really been hoping that less MS this time around was good luck for a different gender, but now it's as bad, or worse, than with my boys.  And, so weird that it kicked in so late.  I'm still hoping that it passes soon.  I have my NT scan tomorrow and I'm really hoping for a good nub shot!

Thank-you all for sharing your experiences for MS. I really hope that all the sickness goes away soon and we get our desired genders.

HappyRose - I am with you.  I feel really bad for all the women with MS because I know that it is difficult.

jediepgrl - I heard that MS was suppose to go away after the 1st trimester.  Is that true?  I will be fx that you get a good nub shot.

So I have a dumb question!!!!  Is it still considered MS if you dont throw up?  Today is the 3rd day in a row that I have had a slight case of nausea (that has lated all day).  I dont mind the thought of eatting but everything sounds gross (except McDonalds and I'm not really a big McDonalds fan).  If I force myself to eat some crackers then I feel better for a little while.  I didnt have MS with my other pg's so I'm not sure if this is MS or not.  Who knows, maybe it is all in my head. The other thing that I have noticed is that most things dont taste good either.  Things that I would normally like either they dont taste good or they taste like cardboard (like nothing).  Is anyone else experiencing this?

I have my first u/s in 48.5 hrs!!!  I am so excited!!!  

SoReady, I think any kind of nausea is considered MS, some women don't ever vomit but feel nauseas.  Everyone says I am having a girl because I have been so sick this time around.  With my boys I was sick but not this bad.  I have been vomiting at least twice a day since the day I was 6 weeks along and still am even with medicine.  So I actually looked up morning sickness being worse with girls, and there have been studies done that proves it, it's not just an old wives tale!  Now obviously women pregnant with boys can get horribly sick and all pregnancies are different but it has been proven that female fetuses produce more hcg, which can lead to worse MS.  I have also had a lot of symptoms during the past 10 weeks that I didn't have with my boys until later one, like cramping, acne, dizziness, heartburn, backaches, so I am praying it means a different gender!  Good luck to everyone getting ultrasounds soon, I am having my NT screening in 2 weeks and just hoping I get a good nub shot.
