I just got a call from my RE's office and my stomach was in KNOTS when I saw the number! But she was just calling to check in and see how I was feeling after my retrieval. Phew! She also let me know that 13 of our embies were biopsied and sent to the lab today! We may get a call tomorrow with the results if they come in in time, otherwise she said we would get them Saturday morning.
I'm FINALLY starting to feel better since the retrieval. Up until I went to bed last night my abdomen was still super bloated and I was in a lot of pain. It has been really difficult for me to care for my children while being so terribly uncomfortable. I slept in a reclining chair last night and it's the most comfortable sleep I've had since Monday. I also got some Dandelion tea and that seems to have helped as well. I think I had/have mild OHSS, but I'm very happy to be feeling better now, especially before the transfer Saturday.
In other news, I started taking the PIO shots and GOOD GRIEF is my rear end sore! The shot itself isn't that bad, but the next day you feel like you did a thousand lunges the day before! I've heard that if you vigorously massage the area afterwards for several minutes it can help, so I'm going to try that tonight.
