When I had a miscarriage last year at 11 weeks, I bled very very lightly for about ten days before the actual miscarriage. Then it gradually got heavier and I started to lose tissue over the next couple of days then after a few days the bleeding stopped. I think it takes so long as the hormones have to drop to a low enough level for your body know what's happening and take action. I have to say that I have absolutely no gender desire this time but i know it wasn't my fault that I lost my babies.
From looking at your symptoms, I think all maybe ok if the bleeding is stopping. Lots of women have bleeds and go on to have healthy babies. There are plenty of reasons why you might bleed, sometimes the placenta can detach slightly, a burst cyst, a vanishing twin.
Have you had a scan yet in your pregnancy?
