TTC a girl in Summer or Fall 2012

I wanted to try O+12 for our first attempt, but now Im not sure,any thoughts on which one to try first? Free will! Good Luck, and pink dust!! Wow alot of you are in the 2WW! Thats so good! I'm CD4 today, still waiting on AF to leave me alone,lol. I want to try the Lime or the vinegar, if not both this week, hopefully one of them work to lower my PH for a while, I did buy rephresh but I didnt get to chk it as often as I would have liked to see how much it lowered it and for how long. Wouldnt it be great if we were a thread who had ALL of us be pregnant with successful sways! That lifts my spirits! Girls we've got this all the way! Team Pink!!!

Ok, Im sorry about the double post, but I have a question that maybe you Ladies will know? By taking Sudefed the goal is to dry up CM right? But Im not really having that issue, it seems the diet has done alot of it for me, but I was also going to take Sudefed b/c I thought it also helped lower our combined ph..is this true? If not, does anyone know what I could take that would lower our combined ph? I plan on upping cran pretty good? But our combined is normally around 7, and thats without ovulating

Hey Freewill- I misread the info from Tamara's guide! Whoops!!!! After all my planning (which didn't include douching- I decided to do it last minute) I may have stuffed up my attempt! Oh well... I'm going for O+12 anyway and am very confident at pinpointing that so hopefully DH FR works out.

Hi all. Well I probably ovulated at some point today and I really don't think my ph stayed down all day. I had to teach class so I wasn't able to check it too often but every time I did it was high again! I used sylk to lower but it didn't last long. Must be the combination of O and bd last night that kept it up all day. Luvcole I know Sudafed will dry you up but not sure if it lowers ph. Maybe try using a lube during bd to lower? That was all that worked for me, I can take a whole bottle of cranberry supps and drink 10 gallons of CL and it doesn't help. GL to you! For the person asking about the sugar in the diet I think you can't have it cause you want lower blood sugar levels but there are other girl diets I think where you can have it. I haven't eliminated sugar from my diet completely, that's too much for me! Sew I think I will take a break from the diet during my 2ww cause all the carbs are making me gain weight. I probably will still stay away from extra salt and red meat though. Let me know if you have any symptoms, I can't wait to test :)

Thanks luvcole! I live in the NW US and couldn't find sylk in any of the drugstores so just ordered it from Amazon. It wasn't any more expensive than Rephresh :) GL on your attempt!

Luv- Our attempts will be very close just like Sew and Kats! I'm on Cd 7ish and waiting for Af to go away! Freewill can't wait to hear how your testing went this am! Ponytails- still no test for you right? Kats- Sorry to hear you couldn't keep your ph down. I'm sure it must be hard to think about all this sway stuff and still have a life to live out there! I'm sure your attempt was great though.

ps- I haven't been real great on the low sugar thing either. I have breakfast too. I don't wanna ruin my health over this sway. I'm already eating hardly anything! I have a small bowl of oatmeal with a pinch of ground flax seeds and a 1/2 cup of frozen raspberries on it every morning. I put a pinch of brown sugar on it too and then milk. It's a good lower your ph meal, but it's got sugar. It only keeps me "full" for about 1.5 hrs though....I also drink chocolate milk....

 Kat, I sort of feel like if one of us gets a girl we both will! I don't know why, and it's silly. But we both tried on the same day and both had trouble keeping PH low. I'm sure we did lots of things the same and lots of things different (like timing in the cycle). I really feel like I am pregnant, which is ridiculous on 2DPO! I just have this feeling in my tummy that I always have in early pregnancy, but it's probably just nervousness or something. It hasn't gone away even for a second since our attempt. I hope it means something! Kat, will you be finding out your baby's gender?

Do all you ladies plan on finding out baby's gender? I've never found out and in fact on my last two I opted out of all ultrasounds. I won't be finding out much as it feels like the suspense might kill me!

Yesterday my four year old prayed for "mommy to get pregnant TODAY, and this time make it be a girl baby!" and my three year old prayed for "two sisters and three daughters".

sew- I'll be finding out and have found out for my 2 sons. I guess I just can't wait until labour for that news! I sure hope you both hear pink. ALL of us for that matter!! Thats sooo cute that your kids want a sister!

This is sort of off topic from what you ladies are posting about right this minute but does anyone know if ovulation can occur at any time of the day or only a particular time? I thought today was going to be my ovulation day but so far nothing. And my CM isn't clear yet :( So I think I might have messed up my chance this month.

 Ovulation can definitely happen at any time of the day, even 3am. So pay close attention to your body today, it could still be on the way! GL

Oh well...don't sweat it.....there are so many details! I changed my plan last minute too because I couldn't keep ph down. Gl on o+12!!!!!

So far for me a bfn......I'll test again tomorrow am or fri am. I've felt pregnant since 2dpo also......lots of menstral type cramping that will go away when I lay down or eat. Boobs very swollen and tender......some nausea. Maybe my brain is tricking me, but I'd be surprised if I was p after all the douche etc I did. Dh doesn't think I'll get pregnant after all the stuff I stuffed up there to keep ph down:) does anyone know as for the sugar what gram level we are supposed to stay under??
