I am trying the Ericsson method have 5 boys now.

I just wondered if anyone has tried this method and wants to talk about it. They have me taking clomid to help increase the odds. I will love the baby no matter what it comes out but I want a girl so very bad. Are there any others out ther with 4 or more boys wanting a girl?

Yes, there are quite a few moms around here who have 4 boys and more!! Deb186 here is expecting baby boy #6 and is planning to use MicroSort and/or PGD for a baby girl next.

Yes I had 3 boys and tried for a girl and had twin boys. I was thinking of trying that next if this doesn't work. But I keep the hope that I may be one of the lucky ones. I find most people do not understand my deep desire to have a girl. But thank you so much.

I have 4 boys and I want a daughter so much. The only chance I can have to get one is the at home methods. Good Luck

I have four girls and want a boy so badly.  Im sure it is the same feeling.  It is not fun and not easy.   The road to getting what we want is rocky and emotional.  But this site is a haven.

Oh absolutely.  I am going to try an IVF/pgd cycle next month.  I had originally wanted to try ericsson method since the stats for conceiveing boys is in the 80% range success rate.  Not as good for girls but if you have decided you dont or cant go high tech it is the next best thing.  Good Luck to you.  My SIL has five boys, she wishes she had a girl and her oldest son recently got engaged and had a formal party to celebrate.  She spent the whole time crying (in sadness) wishing she had a daughter to share the moment with.  So I know it hurts.  But our dreams are not impossible.  God Willing. 

I have 5 boys and did PGD/IVF last year at this time and ended up with only male embryos . We are adopting a little girl from Russia.

Hi, everybody!  I am so glad I found this site.  I am the mother of four beautiful boys :}  But, I deeply want a daughter.  My husband and I were on the list for Microsort then we backed out for many reasons.  We are now planning on doing the Ericsson Method this month!!!!  As I have been reading all of these posts I couldn't help but cry because this has been a very emotional journey for me and d/h.  I had a late miscarriage when I was 16 weeks along in 05' she was our little girl that we so longed for.  But, God had a different plan for us at that time and 6 months later I got pregnant with our 4th. son!  What a blessing this little boy is to us : ]  I am really excited about this site and look forward to meeting new friends and share stories!  Wish us luck!!!!!!

It is so nice to hear someone else is trying this method. I was starting to feel alone. I had 2 miscarrages before I got pregnant with my last which were the twins. I didn't know what there sex was but it was the hardest thing I have ever had to deal with. I am trying this month also. We tried last month but it didn't work. Hoping this month takes. I am currently on 100 mg of clomid. Did they put you on clomid? They told me it helps with having a girl. Good luck to you!!

I am so sorry your PGD didn't work. I can't beleave there were no girls. I didn't think that was possable. But it is great that you are opening your hearts to a child who needs someone. I wish you the very best!
