Mittelschmerz vs CM - which is a more reliable indicator of O?

Man, I never thought I'd have such issue figuring out ovulation... but of course, when it matters most, along comes the confusion.

If say, I had O pains & cramping one evening, but still had copious EWCM the next day... did I O at night, or the next day? Which is a more reliable indicator of O, pain or CM?

Still waiting for the CM shift....

i was going to ask this myself.  I had the pains one day with eggwhites then the next day NO mucus but cervix went high again and a bit open vs full- then knock me to my knees O pain.

so maybe we won't know.  its mearly a good guess.

I'm thankful with TTC boy we plan to BD right through O, so I figure, so long as I have EWCM, Ima keep making DF late for work. ;)

I think Tamara said that pains can happen anytime, before, during or after, and that CM & CP were much more reliable indicators. Unfortunately, without OPKs we're pretty muchleft to guessing.

i used OPK.  but I keep testing so I am not sure if I O on the day of my - or day of + this month.  most month I O same day as +opk. like 12 hrs later...

Ah... I'm not using them yet, this is only cycle #1 TTC, of course, I will use them if it takes more than a few cycles for a BFP.

Now I've got a whole other issue... I had the Mittelschmerz on 16 & 17 Nov, but here we are 20 Nov (in the EU already, not the US) and the cramps ar gone but I've still got some serious EWCM! Today is day 7 of ewcm. Oy body, what's going on with you??
