Having Boy #5

I have to say I'm a little disappointed that I am having another boy. I'm happy the baby is healthy....don't get me wrong. I was just really hoping for a girl!! Three friends just had the gender they were hoping for. And me.....ANOTHER boy!!!

Im sorry you didnt hear Girl hun I know you may not believe me but i think 5 Boys together is lovely im expecting to hear Boy at my scan and althoigh i do have a girl that will give me 5 sons in total and I cant wait :)

I know how you feel you sound like me when i had ds4 and was pregnant with number 5 and didnt know the gender I was always grateful for my healthy baby but a little disapointed i didnt have a girl and it does seem everyone you know has a girl

You never know what the future holds you may still have a girl in your future :)

Sorry you didn't hear that  girl. I have been there 4 times now. Congrats on a healthy Baby Boy. Have fun with him. Boys are great

 Awwww, I'm sorry it turned out that way. I have a friend who only wanted a little girl, he tried and tried and tried and he has 9 boys... swears up and down he's DONE but I think he's holding out for that little girl :)

 He loves his boys, of course and he's a great dad, but he just wants a little daddy's girl...

 I'm not sure if you're going to keep trying but if you do I hope you get your lil girl. I have 1 boy and I'm pregnant again. I'm totally fine with either sex but I know if I have a girl I'll be a little bummed my son won't have a brother and if I have a boy, I'll be bummed I'm not having a girl :/ this is our last my. DH has 1 of each and is content - I'd still like at least 1 more after this but unlikely...

 I'm sure you already know how much you'll love this lil guy - but I do understand the sad you're not getting a little girl. big hugs!!!

I do have 1 little girl in the mix......but I was still hoping for that girl. We "may" just have to have another ;)

ah right! well in that case Enjoy 5 princes and 1 princess!!! they will spoil her rotten and protect her will be great :D

 I know how you feel... I have 4 boys then a girl and was told that this one is probably a boy.  We were really hoping for our girl to have a sister... this is probably our last, I dont think I can get DH to go again lol.

After 2 losses this year I am thrilled to be pregnant. But I have to admit I cried on the way home after finding out it's another boy!!

See i cant really relate to that as a mum who had all boys and was so desperate for a girl and was lucky enough to get her I find myself not in the slightest bit upset if my DD dosent get a sister it just isnt an issue for me because of how i felt when i didnt have any girls But it does seem maybe im odd LOL  as alot of women here seem to want there DD to have a sister so I dont think you shouldnt grief for what you dont have so im sorry you didnt hear girl just wondering if you decide to have another though what if that ones a boy too will you still feel the same?

I did this too on finding out about baby boy #5.  Now the shock has worn off I'm really excited and can't wait to meet him - I hope you will reach the same stage too...  For me it wasn't about my DD having another sister (she's already got one), it was more about having a balanced family...  I felt good when I had four boys and two girls...  But for some reason hearing I was having a 5th boy sent me a bit loopy for a short while.

I hope you find peace with this little man...

That is a great question. I haven't thought about that!! I think IF we do have another it will be on the understanding that it will be the last and that would make that pregnancy all the sweeter - boy or girl!
