I'm signed up on AAI's Ethiopia email list and I get photos of waiting children on occasion. I don't think I can share the photo on a public website, but the email said I could share the details - so I'll copy at least just the text of the email, oh and the little boy is 7 yrs old and a cutie :) I think I can email his picture to anyone curious, but I just can't post it on a public place according to the email.
This little boy has had his third family
change their minds and go in a different direction! He had already been
told he had a family (by the social worker at the orphanage) and has
been waiting for months for them to bring him home. Please help us find
a new family for him asap. We are looking for a family who is homestudy
and Immigration ready or who can be so quickly and who will work fast
to give this little boy a chance at a future in a loving home.
We need your help in finding a home for Goytom!.

We would appreciate your sharing Goytom's information individually with
friends, family or anyone you think might be interested. Perhaps your
church or a group you belong to would like to get involved in helping
to place this child? It is so sad that there are so many little ones
around the world without love or a family of their own, something most
of us take for granted.
This country allows families to adopt from more than one country at
the same time so even if you are currently pursing an adoption through
another country, you could also work on bringing Goytom home at the
same time. This country also allows families to adopt unrelated
children at the same time, so even families who are already adopting a
child from Ethiopia, could also adopt Goytom at the same time and bring
them both home as their children!
We were told by our Coordinator in Ethiopia:
