I Bought A Newborn Dress :)

 Staying optimistic that this little bean is a baby girl Not enough to take the tags off of course, but why not?

I bought a sweater, tutu, and ballet slippers the day I got my BFP with Ava. lol  So I don't think there is anything wrong with it.

 I also couldn't help myself and bought a girly onesie I had been eyeing online for a while. When it came in the mail I panicked a bit and hid it in a drawer. I couldn't bear to even look at it! I feel it haunting me in there  I also ordered a somewhat girly nursing cover but they mistakenly sent me the boy design! I was anxious the whole day wondering if it was a sign I am preggo with a boy! 

Anyone else obsessing about "signs" pointing to one gender or another??? 

I don't even usually believe in signs but yet it is still so nervewracking when everything seems to point one way although it is probably just that we are so focused on it it is a bit of a self fulfilling prophecy. Serenity - Hope you hear pink at your u/s. I get butterflies in my stomach even hearing about other people's ultrasounds and imagining when it will be my turn for the big gender reveal.  Yes I am CONSTANTLY looking for signs.  I saw the name "maya" in the back of a baby book i was reading ds and i thought maybe that was a sign that i am having a girl since that is one of our girl names.  But then DH brought home a pic of cute little family and said "look it's us!" and at first it lookedl like two boys but then after second glance looked like a boy and a boyish looking girl lol.  So then I thought maybe that is a sign that it is a girl even though I worry it's a boy!  Uggggh!  Women!

Oh I keep swaying between seeing signs and then thinking that I must be having a boy because thats all we know how to make (lol)! I do things like go to the supermarket and say to myself, whatever sex the next baby I see is will be the sex of this baby!! The first time I did it I saw 7 girls in a row!!! Lol!!!

I am so jealous that you got the courage to buy a dress! I would love to but I am worried I might jinx it...

I have a small girl stash from before my first pregnancy. Somehow everyone added something, not suspecting that there would be so many boys in the family! Both my sister-in-laws only have boys, too. I am not buying anything until I know for sure, I just could not take the disappointment. I think it is great that you did!

Thats funny cos I have had a wooden spoon tied with pink ribbon and a pair of cute pink socks under my bed since we started TTC and even though we are pregnant I dont want to move them in case it somehow makes this baby turn boy!!! LOL.... I said the same thing to DH the other night, that the pink stuff was staying there until we knew what this baby is!

When I found out I was preggo with #3 I went and bought a bunch of pink girly stuff, when I found out he was a boy it REALLY upset me to have to go thru my stash and have to give it all away so No way am I doing it this time around
