Hi,

I use the Clear Blue easy monitor and i got my first high fertility reading  on MOnday and i am still getting high fertility today. i have not had a peak. Is this possible. i though you only got 5 at most. Does this mean i won't ovulate? Thanks.

Bumping for you!  I am not sure about the CBFM but it seems like this is normal.  Have you had a peak yet?  What CD are you on now?  The monitor has to get used to your body so if this is the first month using it I don't thnk it is abnormal for you to get just high readings.  Hopefully someone else will know!

I think it really just depends on the person. The monitor does take about 3 months to "adjust" to your individual cycle. Are you taking any meds? When I take Clomid I get at least 5 High readings. But, since I know my schedule better now, I save a lot of sticks by only testing a few days around O.

To sum up my answer- I don't think it's abnormal to get so many high readings. You may not get a peak reading, but that doesn't mean you didn't/won't O. You might want to temp, if you're not already- just as a confirmation for O.

ITA w/the PP. The monitor does have an adjustment phase and your body can do things differently each month. I've had anywhere from 2 days to 2 weeks of High readings before a Peak. The 'limit' of High readings is 20-something, IIRC. I never got quite that many, but close!
