Why iam i feeling this way?...advice need!!!!

Hi ladies, Can someone just talk some sense into me please!!!!!!.I have three daughters and iam 13 weeks pregnant again. I had my 12 week+3 day scan the other day, an asked the ladie who was scaning me what the gender was, she quickly brushed me off by saying and stuttering"oh its too early to tell now". she then printed me of some scan pictures, which so much resembles a girl. My trouble is , I want a healthly baby boy soooooooooooooo badly and my husband has made it quite vocal that he does too!. I understand its what gods whats at the end of the day, and we have to be grateful. However ladies i feel like am having a girl which i dont want,and this is because i have the same symptoms as when i was pregnant with my other three girls. I keep browsing the internet looking for boy symptoms, and is trying to convince my self that i have them, whereas i dam well know i havent.

I dont want to sound ungratefull because i know there are women out there who are trying to conceive or just cant have children period. My sister inlaw has just had her 4th son, and her and her husband are over the moon. And because of this i think iam gonna have that 4th girl (my husband and her husband are brothers).

i just want some ruff and tumble in my household, iam am sick of bloody princess, fairies and tea parties, i want some dirt and grime and worms and ripped knee jeans that boys make.

Dont get me wrong , i love my DD's to death, but why iam i feeling GD and i dont even know for sure if its a girl. please Keep me in your prayers that this little baby will be a heatly little boy. Thank you all for reading and sharing my woe's.

I know how you feel. We too have 3 adorable girls and we are now 28wks pregnant with our 4th child. When we went for our u/s and heard we were having another girl we were both so devastated. We so much hoped and prayed for our little boy. I thought foreshore we were having a boy as my symptoms were completely different. With the girls i was so sick and with this pregnancy not once have i been sick and the heart rate is also completely different compared with my girl pregnancies. SO dont read too much into it about how different your pregnancies are, it doesnt mean your going to have another girl. My friend is pregnant with her third and she was sick with her 2 girls and this pregnancy she is also sick so she thought she was having another girl but to her surprise shes having a boy!!! yeh lucky her!!!!

Look dont worry there's still a chance you may have a little boy in there. And dont worry it will get better, i still long for our son and probably always will, but im so much looking forward to meeting our 4th little princess. Im just trying to enjoy this pregnancy as its our last. Maybe were just not meant to have sons, i know it really hurts i think about it every night and ask why couldn't god give us our son this time round but there's obviously a reason, i just wished i knew why....Anyway good luck i really hope you get your son you both so much deserve...

Iam so glad i've found this site where people have or had been in the same situation, to be honest i thought i would have been judged beacuse when you put things like this on other forums they start a witch hunt and make you feel like crap. Only god,my husband and you guys know about my feelings and iam still a bit embarassed to admit i feel this way. It's so hard when you see people and they say things like "this one has to be the boy", or "make sure its a boy so you dont have to go back". Im sick of people coming up to me and saying it looks like your having another girl, or What are you hoping for??? Well i just feel like turning around and saying what do you think id want after 3 girls, what kinda question is that... I know there's so many so called friends out there that are so hoping we have another girl... What are the odds of us having a boy with everyone out there hoping we have another girl...Dammmm is just not fair im sick of ittttttttt and all the smart arse comments people make.. A lady said to me today so do you know what your having? i turned around and said a baby i hope,, she didnt know what to say. It made me feel so good..

The funny thing about it is, in the past friends and family have made jokes saying my husbands not a man cuz he cant produce any boys can you believe the cheek of it. People can be so un-sensitive at times.

 Hi, I can't offer you much comfort as I have a severe case of gender dissapointment. I have three girls and pregnant with #4 and it is a boy and I do not want him AT ALL. I'm honestly considering adoption bcz the very thought of him being here makes me sick. However I can offer you some hope because I have three girls, this is a boy and I feel EXACTLY the same as I did with my other 3 pregnancy's. EXACTLY not a bit different. Which is probably part of the reason I was so shocked bcz everyone says you feel different with boys than girls. Well in my case I did not and all 4 of my pregnancy's have been the same. 

Although because of that I can't help but cling to the fact that they are wrong. 

 

Thanx Pixie97, i have a little glimour of hope now!!! Alot of 4th pregnancies always end up the same gender and iam just scared mine is awell. Why do i feel like iam being sooooooooooo ungrateful, which makes me feel even worst. This is all i have on my mind and generally iam a strong headed person, but this shows i cant be that strong if i feel all weepy about having another girl. And the funny thing is, i dont even know if its girl. But  you always have that deep down feeling as a mother. I live in England (europe) so if you dont want your little man, i'll raise him for you, then i'll send him back when his 18 with and British english accent

 The tech was right it is too early to tell gender...and had they guessed it would be just that...a guess...so hold on to your hope of having a boy. :)  I have 5 boys and all of their pregnancies were different...SEVERELY sick the whole 9 months with first...less sick with each...I think my 4th I got sick like twice the whole time and my last one I carried real high and was VERY tiny the whole time...all boys and all carried different with different symptoms...some I craved mexican...one italian..one fast food and one sweets and lots of fruit...:)  So there's still def. a possibility of you having a boy...even though I know...trust me...that it's hard to think it's even possible to have the opposite sex after having so many of the same...good luck and I hope it turns out the way you want it and let us all know when you find out! :) Hugs.

I think I cant tell but I do see a maybe hint of girl...I will give you alllllll my blue dust u can send me all ur pink dust for the next pregnancy!

Thanx Turtles, i think iam begining to see a bit of hope again. it must be fun and exciting with your boys. my hubby comes home from work and wants to play fight with me, so he does all these kung fu move on me and i scream for help, then i hear the foots steps of three little girls running down the stairs shouting" the monsters here, quick get him,we cant let him eat our mummy" lol!!!, its cute to watch but its just not seem right little girls play fighting. And i think my husband feels the same, but he does'nt show to them, instead he picks them up and tosses them in the air and chase's them around the house in some funny monster voice, but i know deep down he would love to do that to a bunch of boys also.

I have just had my 4th boy in the summer and I can say my pregnancy with him was very different from his 3 brothers. He also looked "dainty" on the 12 week scan. He looked nothing like the other boys did, I had all the clasic girl symptoms and he is all boy! You still have hope for your boy. All the old wives tales you hear are just that, they can be fun but dont read into them too much! There is no real truth in them what s ever, every pregnancy is different even if it feels the same. Thanx nicole, i'll just have to wait and see, ive got 6 weeks untill next scan, so it will properbly be the longest 6 weeks ever.
