Do girls ever turn into boys ?!

Ive read several posts here of ppl who were told BOY first and at later US were told GIRL.

Has anyone heard of a girl later turning into a boy?

Just curious what the chances are my US tech was wrong...

I've heard girl turning boy way more often than boy turning girl. I googled it one time and read several posts on other sites from people claiming they were told girl and eneded up having a boy. The people doing the u/s's are just that, people...they all make mistakes. CC was telling me about a lady she works with that has missed a few penises in her career. I'm sure it's easy to get bad shots and not be able to see a penis therefore guessing girl. And even a bad angle of a boy could cause three lines so it would appear to be a girl. I'm sure techs are wrong quite often.

It happened to me with ds1.  We were told 100% girl in a level 2 ultrasound by both the tech and the high risk genetic doctor.  Guess what....he popped out a boy!

Same thing happened to my husband's cousin, but she had a regular ultrasound.

With my eldest I was told atmy 20 week scan that it was 95% boy which was good enough for me, everything was blue and the nursery was decorated in trains and cars etc,I had a girl!
