We were able to lower his ph to a 7 (from a 9). We did bd through O and I accidently had a big O on the night of ovulation which I'm assuming is why I'm pregnant. We were on the diet and the supplements though. Most old wives tales point to a boy and as we are getting closer to our gender scan (Nov. 30th) I'm getting more and more anxious. Symptoms are:

Early HPT 10 dpo

Started showing early

No Morning Sickness

BB's about the same (but I had a breast augmentation a few years ago so don't know if that matters)

line that runs all the way from top of bump to pubic area

Hair on legs and everywhere else slowed down

Carrying low and very basketball like (from the back I don't look pregnant)

Can't eat red meat, craving sweets, fruits and juices

Face is fuller

My question is - Is there anyone out there whose signs pointed to boy but still had a girl? Do I have any hope to hear pink?

Try this!!!

Hi Ladies,

I crave tomatoes and watermelon ,some chocolate cookies ,carrots with ranch ,tea ,salads,I eat meat too,but not craving it. My face is really nice looking ,but I have breakouts on my back a little. My lower back are hurting every day since 2 dpo. My hairs are nicer I think, they are not as dry as usually but also are flat. boobs are bigger but not much,I think left is a little bigger than right but could be my imagination. Three weird things happened today. First I eat nothing but watermelon in the morning. Second I think my hairs become to falling out ! Third I really wanted pizza for dinner, order it (with ham and mushrooms) ,than eat two slices and than become sick. Weird. I really wanted pizza and than couldn't even look at it. Oh also had my bfp 10 dpo if it matters . I really start to believe it is a girl (which i though it's for sure boy earlier) I wanted so bad, I don't want to think like that because I will be even more disappointed if it isn't. But I can't ignore that this pregnancy is sooo different that my last two.

UPDATE: no nausea at all since 11 week,I still have metallic taste sometimes though. I crave home made pies, dippin' dots ice cram -I could eat it all day long-the strawberry and vanilla ones!, apples but meat too, chicken wraps form McDonalds. I crave hot dogs but fell not so good after ....,pickles,stake, fish, straweberries. Oh and also onion.....Still don't like fires and burgers and pizza- that didn't change. My lower back stopped hurting,i have headaches now,my face doesn't look good anymore (but it didn't with my boys also)i have those little pimples on my back and now also on my chest. My skin is oily and hair are also. They are flat. They falling out still.I had 2 boy dreams and one girl dream, but in boy dreams baby was small and in girl dream the girl was big, like 4 or 5 years old. I had light colored cloudy pee before now it is more and more neon-like but it may be because I drink more milk ?it's not like that all the time though.I aslo feel really tired after 2 pm. I have to take a nap every day at 2-3 pm, I was full of energy earlier.Oh I also crave wine (not so often though) and m&m's

Here is what I have experienced so far...

1. My bbs are HUGE and really heavy and sore. They've been this way since before I found out that I was preggo.

2. My hcg levels were off the charts (above the median for twins and triplets).

3. I had pretty intense m/s early but it didn't stick around very long. It was gone by the time I was 8-9 weeks.

4. My face looks like a pizza. I am so broken out, especially on my chin and to a certain extent, on my upper back. Sorry TMI!

5. My head hurts pretty much all the time. Tylenol really doesn't help much.

6. I'm gaining weight big time; I've already gained 9 lbs (I'm almost 15 weeks) and most of it is in my legs/butt/hip area.

7. I'm still really tired, but this is getting a little better, I think.

8. Baby's heart rate is really high compared to both DS and DD - it's up in the 170's. Not that that really matters, but ...

9. This pregnancy is distinctly different from both my prior pregnancies, but closer to my pregnancy with DD as compared to DS.

So what do y'all think? I'm dying to find out... 6 days and counting!

Look at bottom of post.

OK . . . DIdn't want to fall for it but did it anyway. Promised myself to only do one. I am convinced that there is a pH component to it. My pH had been less than 5 but recently I have been so sick I have been drinking only water with lemon and eating bread. Well, when I took the test it smoked and the crystals turned blue. When the crystals settled to the bottom after 10 minutes and I looked at the urine straight on, the urine was clear. My husband and I were confused but thought boy result. I did email the company and just got a response. She said clear urine and dark sediment on the bottom is a girl result!! I am still not convinced but after 3 boys I am clutching onto any hopes of a girl. Anyone else have similar results?

I also want to point out some of the other symptoms I have:

1.) I am sooo sleepy and I have been sleeping hard. I had insomnia with my boys.

2. )Nausea/morning sickness started at 7-8 weeks with my boys. This time it started almost immediately and has become progressively worse. I am having a hate relationship with food. I can't figure out what to eat but feel better with salad and fish. With the boys, I was nauseous but still ate whatever.

3.) I usually have clear skin. As a teenager I only had the occasional pimple. I am breaking out now but I didn't have this with previous pregnancies.

4.) My hair is oily and flat. With other pregnancies, my hair was really nice.

5.) My second and third pregnancy, I started showing right away. We have been able to keep this pregnancy a secret because I am not showing at all and still wearing regular clothes.

6.) Chest hasn't changed but I was never big. I breastfed my 3 boys so I don't have much left.

7.) It might be too early for this one. I had some fuzzy hair growth on belly with last 3 but this time I don't have anything.

8.) Have done predictions: Cheri, Ruby, Brooke, Valerie, Jane Smith (long time ago), ScootieLou say girl. Cosmetic, Roxy say boy (Roxy also said I would have bleeding week 8 - didn't happen). Biorhythms has been right with my boys and is saying girl this time

9.) RIng trick - BBBG. Did it to both myself and DH.

10.) This was a surprise pregnancy. It was definitely from pull out and we are not sure when it happened. We think we may have done it 3 days before I o'd but we never did anything because we had a little one knocking at our door. Even though I was having morning sickness, I didn't know I was pregnant until 1 week after I missed my period and took a test.

11.) Urine is dull and light. With the boys, dark and very yellow.

12.) Heart rate at n/t scan was the same as boys' rates.

Thanks to anyone who read this!!! What do you think? I am so anxious to know. I am hoping 12 week scan reveals something.

U/s tech is convinced it's a ! She even told us to buy pink. If it turns out differently, she will buy all pink from us. We are so happy!

Anyone want to take a guess - Boy or Girl from my symptoms?

Well I'm just over 19 weeks pregnant and my big reveal U/S is in 13 days!!! I am soooo excited!!

My symptoms with this pregnancy have been - from around 8 weeks I have had the most awful 24/7 nausea, which has made me go off eating and not fancy certain foods rather than cravings. I have almost completely gone off chocolate, drinking coffee and tea. I am mainly drawn to pasta dishes, baked potatos and quite bland foods - just because I'm not really fancying anything else

I've put on around 13 pounds in weight so far and I'm sleeping a lot more than normal. I'm also suffering from lots of headaches and early on in the pregnancy I was having dizzy spells and needing to drink ice cold water a lot to quench my thirst. All of these symptoms are very out of the norm for me so.......

What do you all think....I will of course be posting on here as soon as I have had my U/S to help all you other ladies who are wondering what you are having this time round

We have decided to try next year during the summer months to concieve. Both my boys were conceived during winter. It seems that most people I know who have conceived in hot weather have had a girl and if they conceived in cold weather they had a boy. I know it doesn't work for all people, it does work for chicken though I am told :)

MUMS TO BE PULSE...

B4 U READ, COUNT YOUR PULSE IN BOTH HANDS AND WRITE DOWN THE RESULT (1MIN)...

there is a theory in Chinese medicine that states that the gender of an unborn baby can be determine beginning in the fourth month of pregnancy by checking the pulse of the expectant mother on both the left and right arm. This apparently isn't something that just anyone can test -- you have to have someone trained in the practice since there are actually three different pulse points that are checked. They also check the speed, depth, slipperyness (is that a word!), etc. Anyway, this theory states that if the left is dominant then the baby is a boy. If the right is dominant then the baby is a girl.

Here is an online book/link that describes it in more detail.
http://books.google.com/books?id=wON...GhHiwas6PLmDtE
