Forum for Moms recovering from GD who got DG

I've been thinking about this for awhile and have even had PMs from other moms in the same position. There are a lot of us who have parented only 1 gender for long periods of time (over 10 years in my case) and I identify so strongly with all boys moms even though I now have a DD. One thing that surprised me, and I have discovered that has surprised others as well, is when they get their DG, GD does not magically disappear. It takes time to recover.

In some ways you feel like you've betrayed other moms of the same gendered children, that you've been kicked out of a club. (Keep in mind that GD is very complex and runs deep.) When this happens it is hard to know where we belong on IG. We still identify with the GD forum but don't want to trigger others with GD. The GD recovery forum doesn't quite seem right either because there are so many women there who are trying to find peace without getting their DG. I know in fact that some women have left IG because they no longer felt there was a place for them here.

I strongly support a form for woman who do get their DG after GD. It would not only be helpful for those in the situation but for those who are still trying for their DG. I was really unprepared for dealing with feelings of GD after DD was here. No one told me it didn't disappear after the 1st u/s. I think it would be so helpful to a wide range of women.

Any thoughts on this?

Separate Poll section

I tend to use polls a lot because they are helpful to me and gather information quicker and gets more responses. Some people, actually a lot of people answer polls, but do not post.

So, I was wondering if there could be a separate Poll forum in the swaying area to gather info? That way people can reference it and it won't sink out of site so quickly getting even more responses.

I've done this before, but I can't get it to work tonight. It shows up when I preview it, but disappears when I post (although there is blank space where it should be). Somehow the embed code appears to be getting stripped out. When I look at the selection source code, it's gone, but when I go to the html to edit it, it's still there.

Has anyone on Clomid successfully swayed for a girl? I'm on 50mg Clomid followed by 5 days of estrogen and then progesterone from O to AF. The Clomid and estrogen seem to increase my ph which isn't good. If you've had a girl after swaying while on the Clomid program, could you let me know how you did it? Thanks so much!

I was wondering how many of you have had accurate predictions from this service? I had them do readings for my first two children and they were right on the money - I have two boys. I asked them for a prediction on my current pregnancy and was told another boy. In my heart of hearts, I feel it's a boy, too -- but I'm still holding out hope that their prediction is wrong! I’m having a hard time attaching my ultrasound photo, it keeps timing out and saying there was an error. Does anyone have any suggestions or alternative ways I can post it? I REALLY want to hear some of your opinions! I have an almost 100% boy shot (but from 14 wks) and I think I just need to hear Yes, that is a BOY! (my 3rd).... so I can nip this delusional feeling I keep getting that it could still be a girl....

I've tried 'insert an image' but it asked for me to enter the URL and doesn't work when i do.. also tried 'include an image' and browsed for the photo and then clicked save but it times out w/ an error message. I've also tried to just copy and paste it. I'm feeling like a real idiot because there are so many photos posted here, I’m not sure why I can't get it... Sure can't blame my prego mama brain here! (and I've tried tweaking my internet settings as well).. Ahh!!!

I have noticed that sometimes when people make a post, their siggie is missing, and yet I know they have a signature. And I remember someone once asking Maureen if there was a way to hide your signature when you made a post in a certain forum, so as not to hurt feelings, etc. and she said that it wasn't possible. So I don't understand what is going on? Am I missing a new feature about how to turn my siggie on and off? Or maybe I am just seeing things and need ?
