Looking for support....[:(]

I am writing today because I am having a bad day.  I swayed for a baby girl and am 10 weeks pregnant right now.  My sway was the best it could be.  I am hypothyroid and I know that sways boy…I did my best to counteract that with my sway.  One of the things I did was go on natural progesterone from my health food store, as one of the symptoms of being hypo is low progesterone.  Me being that airhead that I am, I did not bother to check the ingredient list on the all natural progesterone pills.  They are made up of Wild Yam Root, and when I look online every medical study says that the body CANNOT turn Yam Root into Progesterone.  I am so upset because that was one of the big aspects of my sway, I now I feel like I am going to for sure have a boy.

I thought I was okay with another boy (#5), but seeming as how upset I am right now I guess that isn’t true……

Just looking for some support from you ladies L

 

Hi tiffany, I can see from your siggie that u already have two girls, so am finding it quite difficult to understand why having another boy scares u so much? Sorry if I sound a bit harsh but I know if I had your mix I wouldn't even be here. Hope u get what u desire but if u don't, I know you'll love your baby either way, GL!

I actually only have 1 girl of my own.  I am temporaily taking care of a family members child.

 

If you have GD, then you have a right to post in the GD forum. It doesn't matter how many children you have or what gender they are.

I had my thyroid radiated 6 years ago due to hyperthyroidism...so now I have NO working thyroid and need to be on medication everyday...sometimes I'm too high and sometimes I'm too low. I dipped down too low right before I concieved DD. just wante to share:)

Sorry tiffany, I know I sounded a bit harsh, u do have a right to post here or anywhere else. I get jealous of mixed families sometimes :D ,hope u do get another girl, and try not to worry too much about your sway fix it will be successful and if it's not u sound like a great mum and u"ll love that baby regardless,( big hugs) and GL!

 I wouldn't  analyze everything, you are only ten weeks along.  I hope you get your girl but in the meantime, just prepare yourself for the fact that it could be another boy since it's a 50% chance.  Just remember, the gender is already determined so don't worry about what you did or didn't do :)  GL!

GD is a horrible emotion and I really hope this is a little girl for you, I find the first few weeks/months very hard with each pregnancy as your mind is occupied all the time thinking with the thought of the gender (if that matters to you, which in my case is yes) but hopefully your sway may still have worked, fingers crossed for you.

I hope you have the gender you wish for. Will be looking forward to your announcement.

I know people who have had awesome sways and still got the opposite, and vice versa. I still think you have a 50/50 chance hun. GL sweetie xxx

I'm afraid I can't give any insight into your sway, I didn't get the chance to try myself, we oopsed onto our 2nd when our 1st was 7 months! I can definately give you support though! <---closest thing to a hug I can send! I hope the next few weeks go quickly for you and that you can find some peace during your wait. I go tomorrow for my 20 week scan and I am convinced this is boy #2. So I know where you're coming from. Please keep us posted!!

Sweetie, nothing about the human body is that predictable. You may be getting yourself upset and may actually be carrying a girl!  Try to stay positve and relax if you can for your health and the baby's. What will be, will be. Be gentle with yourself. I will be sending you girl wishes!
