Aunt's comments about gender selection...

 I know many people who have swayed for a certain gender and gotten the opposite so it's not a gaurantee. Also, sad to say, at her age it's not that easy to get pregnant.  My son's best friend's mother is 43 and has been trying for two years and has had three miscarriages.  She was saying cause the eggs are so old there aren't many good ones left.  I mean it's not to say she can't, people do, but unfortunately it's not always easy.  And if she is able to get pregnant, she is lucky to have any gender.

And also 8 days before ovulation?  How the heck do you get pregnant that way?  No sperm live for 8 days.

Ugh yea that's silly, I swayed my heart out, bd on o and am expecting dd3... My brother has 4 girls and the last two times I know she tried shettles and other things to get a boy, didn't happen. It's not fool proof. She was just very very lucky. Sorry it's getting to you, there is a lady on the swaying forum who doesn't know the sex yet but did that, they started with 8 days then 7 and she got prego that month. She was trying for girl guess we will see. Anyway I hope you get your boy, my dd2 is my heart child, my soul mate, sooo glad she wasn't a boy!

I conceived this baby 6 days after dtd, not an intentional sway, I actually didn't want to conceive that month as I was about to start diet, supps etc to sway for a girl the following month. Well I'm having another boy!!! So take everything you hear with a pinch of salt. Nothing is guaranteed!! X
