hi girls- i'm new to this site. came across it while trying to do some "research" on whether my somewhat "confirmed" NT scan was really a boy based on the potty shot photo. needless to say, i've been obsessivly looking at everyone's scan pics on this site, lol!! i have two boys, zach who's 5 and gavin who's 2 1/2 yrs. this baby's due a few days/weeks after my youngest's 3rd birthday. i'm a middle school teacher and live in the western new york area. based on the results of my NT scan earlier this week, baby looks completely healthy, thank God, because that's the most important thing!! i'm really keeping my fingers crossed for a girl, but don't think i'm going to be lucky. this is our last baby and really wanted some pink and frills. the tech said boy, but wasn't convinced of it. i'm feeling boy. if you don't mind, i'll attach the pic of the u/s and tell me what you think. i think it looks like a really big penis in the picture compared to what my boys looked like at 19 weeks! upon closer inspection, near the bottom of the arrow, is a faint line that looks like it's a continuation of the thigh. so i wonder if the bright "penis" looking spot is really just that, a bright area from the scan. who knows, time will tell! i have my next u/s sept 26th and even though i'm not holding my breath, i haven't given up all hope just yet. although, i'm not going to be surprised when they say it's a boy! lol!! hope everyone's doing well and has a happy, healthy pregnancy!!! i'm finally feeling better and have some energy back! :)
