I hope it's ok to make this thread... I just happened to see an older post from you back in December in another forum about complications with your pregnancy and I wanted to say I was heartbroken when I read it. I hope the outcome was ok but wanted to offer support if it wasn't. Again I apologize if you didn't want this posted here. I can delete it if you want. Thinking of you

Thank you for thinking of me, that was really sweet of you. They thought I might be miscarrying at about 16 weeks when I went for an elective scan and the lady couldn't find the heartbeat. I had a rough couple weeks with bleeding and frequent hospital visits after that. They didn't quite have a reason for any of this, but that I needed to take it easy and I would possibly have to start getting some type of shots, I forget the name. I have been going to the dr weekly and all is looking good for now, the bleeding has stopped (thank goodness). I will be 20 weeks on Thursday, so halfway yayyy! I go for my full scan on Monday so praying for good news and that bubs is OK. Having 3 very healthy and problem free pregnancies before this one makes me feel terrible for hoping for a girl this time. I just want a healthy baby now. Just leaving it in gods hands now. Thanks again:-)

I'm so happy to hear things are going much better for you and baby! I was very worried when I read about the tech finding only a faint heartbeat and the bleeding. Take it easy mama, you are doing a great job!

 Oh that is wonderful news!!  I am so happy for you!  Is it the 17p (progesterone) injections?  I started those too at 16 weeks.

I think those are it. More than likely I will start those soon. I have been an emotional mess so I forget to ask questions when needed sometimes. Those are to keep me preg and not go into preterm labor, right? Thanks so much!

Yep that is exactly what they are and you take them anywhere from 16-22 weeks and all the way up to 36 or 37 weeks I believe....
