made me feel better about being a "boy" mom

i went to the store today and my ds2 is obsessed with dinosaurs. he had a little one he had been carrying around all day. the register lady told me he is so cute carrying around a dinosaur. you know it is something like that, that says maybe it is okay to be an all boy mom. i am really trying hard not to be negative about 3 boys and i really am looking forward to it, and all little comments like that make me deal with this a little better. just had to share.

 going to go for baby # 4 in July 2011. plz plz plz be a girl!!!

So is mine. Big time. We've seen the IMAX movie "Dinosaurs Alive" 5 TIMES!!! He has all of the dinosaurs memorized. People think it's hilarious when he talks about how the "ankylosaurus swipes the tarbosaurus's legs in the movie!!" Huh? Only my 3 year-old would go on and on about this... It's nice when other people chime in about how cute your boys are. Helps you re-focus on the positives. It will be great for you!

I agree. I thought maybe DS2 would be jealous of his new baby brother. Instead, he is so tender and loving to his little brother. DS1 is also very sweet to his baby brother. It gives me that warm fuzzy feeling when I see how well they treat DS3.

i am so looking forward to seeing them with him. my first two were so close so i did not get to expierence that with them 2 so i am very excited about it.

They are beyond sweet with one another. I love that part. It's not so muchgender disappoinment, impying that I'm disappointed with any/all of them. Because I lvoe them and everything about them so much. And I do love being a mom to 3 boys. It is kind of a fun novelty. But it's the LACK of a daughter, that hits kind of intensly sometimes. But boys with their bugs, dinosaurs, trucks, trains, all of that....super cute :)

If my third is a boy I'm going to call them The three stooges... :P... cause I'm sure there will be a lot of laughing... boys are hilarious and cute as can be.

oh i LOVE my DS3's dinosaurs for his birthday we got him a big Dinsosaur play set made of wood and all the dinosaurs they are so nice!
3 boys is lovely :) you are a lucky lady I have 4 sons maybe 5 and i thankgod everyday for them all such a huge blessing to me and my Dh love them to peices i always think life is so short and all you can do at times is accept and make the most of life
just keep thinking how lucky you are and all the positives about having 3 healthy wonderful children
