My friend is TTC a DD and talked to her pharmacist about it...the pharmacist pretty much suggested that the most effective way was bascially the TBM but instead of warming up the sample or adding lime she was told to refrigerate the sample for 8 or more hours to basically kill of the boy swimmers and then proceed to insert into the vajjay...also timing a couple days before ovulation for added stradigy. I have not seen this mentioned in any other discussions, I know that freezing them will kill the sample but has anyone else heard of this way??

no point in that. dr P. does not belive in swaying and will say swaying doesnt work

Maybe someone with a microscoop can test this? See if the spermies are still alive afterwards....

Wow, I'm surprised someone in the medical community actually acknowledged TBM! I'm interested to hear if it works. It would be awfully cold to insert though!

if it does work it sounds much easier than incubating the sperm and using egg white.

su/msu has scientific studies on it, lots of them, this have no studies on it

I will definetely test this but I think that it will just kill everything 8 hours is a long time and that is really cold! Plus, I would think that after 8 hours at such a low temp the sperm would be really weak and would not really be able to survive the 'elements' of the cervix....
