I think gender in relation to pregnancy symptoms is a myth. It depends on the woman, that specific pregnancy, etc. I have felt much worse this time with ds than I did with dd, although I felt pretty horrible with dd, and I didn't have GD, so maybe that's why I feel worse this time. I don't think symptoms matter at all.
