who inspires you on IG?

Sometimes it's so negative around here, that I thought it would be nice to start a post about which women are inspiring to you on this wonderful site. I have been on here for 2.5 years and here are some of mine:

alligus, because after getting her dd she is still around to offer support, and she's pretty much nice to everyone

portia west, because she has evolved past the 'girls need daughters' and 'men need sons' mindset, and she approaches gd rationally

lissa, because she has worked so hard through two difficult pregnancies and puts her enormous intelligence behind getting the better of gd

coochie-coo, because she seems to me to battle gd with love, which is inspiring

ummm, there are lots more but that is just a start. who inspires you on IG?

I think this was a wonderful idea....I am fairly new on here so I can't say much yet but what you said was so nice....and it's true..sometimes it's nice to have positive posts!

I have joined IG in April and since then I have got to know some amazing women! I don't post on GD always even though I read all the posts and suffer with it myself.

So here are mine, the only reason they are in my list in simply because they are AMAZING and make IG such a wonderful place to be!

This is a GREAT idea!!! And thanks Luci! I would have too many to name. I would not have made it through this last year of my life without this site and the wonderful ladies that supported me through the darkest time I hope I will ever see. Gosh, as I write this it brings tears to my eyes because I don't know that I will ever be able to express my gratitude to every single person who prayed for my family and talked me through my depression, anger, grief, and to be honest, suicidal moments of my life. Thank you all for supporting me and caring. I KNOW I would not have made it through it without you all and I am sorry for some unstable moments that I had where my emotions took over the best of me. My family is in a much better place now and I can't say it enough, THANK YOU!!!!!!

The only person who has ever inspired me is wheresmyboo?  Forumally known as NOimagination  because she has 6 sons and ive never ever once heard her ever moan or saying 1 bad thing about her life shes grateful for what she has shes my all time inspiration infact ive met her and she really is how she comes across on here

shes someone i think deserves a DD truley deserves one and i have a feeling she will good things always come to those who wait :)

Beebs & Bubs, and Portia West - I am sure there are others but those are  two I can think of ATM, who  have all boys and are conquering or have conquered their GD.  In real life I am still trying to get more all boy moms to be my inspiration, a kind of all boy mom mentor, I think I may have found one or two recently, in response to helping out an all girl mom and a neighborhood event

What a lovely post you brought up - it made me smile inside this morning

What I can say to this is that many women have inspried me as well, and

not only those that I agree with but also those who I thought had "provokative" thoughts

that made me want to think & dig deeper into my own GD. I learned from this just as well!

And overcoming GD is not really so much about gender per se - for me it is about having a

different mind-set and not falling into the "traps" of genderstereotypes that we so easily do.

There are many on here that inspire me, esp those that have overcome GD because at the moment i am finding it increasingly difficult to do just that and cannot see a future where i won't ever want a boy. 

Kristindoggirl is so....BRILLIANT.  She writes so well, is gorgeous, kind, open-minded and supportive.

Dream is a great role model for moms of many boys.  She has "been there done that" and sticks around to help those of us in need.
