How would you do "sperm washing" with sylk?...I thought it was just "maybe" ok to use a sperm friendly lube

I dont know yet lol.  we are still working out the details in the egs forum.  Some people need to prewash there sperm so we came up with a bunch of ways to do it, this was just one idea

oh ok, hehe...I never heard of that before, don't even know what it would be for  ;)

 I used Sylk for the first time this month. I"ve only used canola oil the past 4 months and not had any luck. This month with the sylk I got a bfp! It certainly does seem to help conception. I will update gender in December 

how did it effect your pH?

 Well, my pH is always between 4.7-4.9 and that's the pH of the Sylk. I did not notice a change. I did notice though, that my pH was still around 5 after all 4 hours for both of my attempts. I think it helped keep it down.

 Yeah I think my pH was always higher than that, did you do the diet or any of that? I eat pretty healthy but apparently you can hardly eat anything for a girl esp. not anything too healthy LOL

I didn't follow the diets listed here. My hubby is a pharmacist and he said that he would agree to do everything else I wanted as long as neither of us did the diet. He said it's not healthy. However, I did follow the potassium and sodium guidelines with very few days over the limits. 

 Oh I see, yeah it is quite limiting. You gotta keep me updated on if you are having a boy or girl. I would love to just even get pregnant at this point bc time goes by too fast with our lovely clocks :-(

FYI:  Last week when I Oed my pH shot up to 5.03, I used Sylk and tested it 2 hours later and it was 4.74.

Without starting a new tread I thought I would post a page I found on Sylk, It says you can use to aid the tampon in so we may be able to use like lime tampon, I still havent tried this yet but I will do it when my ph goes up it has been really low latley so I cant try, also it says it is acid so might affect sperm and conception, tought id add that too anyway here is the page if anyone is interested.

Hey Tamara, Was just wondering how the results went for sperm washing with Sylk? Have tried to find it in egs forum... Xxx

one lady used pre-seed to make the ew float and it worked, so someone else tried sylk but the ew sank.  So either it doesnt work for her or it wont work for anyone
