Freaking out about u/s tomorrow

I go to the doctor tomorrow for my checkup and my doctor told me at my last visit that she would do another u/s at this visit to check gender again so that I would be at ease about it. Now I am feeling so sick to my stomach. All the feelings I had with My baby #5 when they told me they had messed up are resurfacing. I am so scared I will get there tomorrow and they will say that this is a really a boy and that they were wrong again the first time. I already feel like crying. I have had such a bad week already that I could see this being "the icing on the cake." I can see this being just another thing to add to my list of stuff to stress about. I am so afraid they will say boy and I will start crying. I have tried so hard not to get my hopes up until we had this u/s done but of course I have a little. I feel so sick right now and nobody IRL understands. Even my mom said "As long as it's healthy".

After stopping breastfeeding can you cycle? I know you are supposed to have 2 AFs before the testing, and then you have to do the testing before you cycle...so how long does all this take? I am just trying to figure out the timeline...

This is my 3rd baby so I should know this, but I can't remember how long it takes to get your AF when you stop nursing...and then it would just be a month to get your 2nd AF right? So does it just take a month before you can do the testing?

I know these are dumb questions but I am trying to plan when we can cycle and I am wanting to continue bf through the winter "flu" months if possible and still cycle by next spring/summer.

Saylor for a girl... wierd or no?

I have had my girl name picked out since before my 6YO son was conceived, but now, 7 years later, the name has become too popular for me (Avery).

Now here I am, faced with the very strong possibility that we will finally have our baby girl, and I am totally torn. I always loved the name Sailor, but hated the spelling. I really like Saylor. I am hoping she fits her name, but at the same time, don't want her to be made fun of!

Please be honest! I posted somewhere before, and a large majority of people spoke honestly and didn't like the name, where some other people knew what I was going for and hoped I did use the name and that she'd fit her name perfectly.

I keep thinking of what a spunky petite little girl would look like with the name Saylor, then I think of that girl in the movie "House bunny" with the real deep voice who looks like an ogre... what if my daughter looks like that and her name was Saylor? how awful! Not that there would be many names that would save a girl with that personality... but thats how obsessive I have become!

please help!

(and don't suggest Emery, I can't do that either. A friend on facebook turned me off of that name so badly. Also, it reminds me of the cute little old guy up the street that used to call my friend Emery, when her name was Emily. - He couldn't say letter 'L" appropriately.

Hi ladies, i have three girls age 8,6,4 and is currently 16 weeks pregnant again. My U/S is on the 20th of december. I took a intelligender test today and it said another girl, i sat there and cried.Can these test be wrong or iam i stuck with another girl. I know i need to get a grip and stop acting stupid, but that will be FOUR girls. I really thought i was having a boy by my symptoms, and my husband really really really wanted a boy.

I just knew it would be another boy, had no doubt and when the tech started to do the u/s I thought I saw something and I said "I think I see his wienie." Five seconds later the tech said "It's a girl!", to which I shot back "Are you joking?!" I made him check two more times and sure enough, it does appear to be girlie (although the pics I got aren't very clear.) I won't believe it until I see girl parts the day the baby is born. I told him about my erroneous u/s a few babies ago, where a tech at Fetal Fotos told me I was having a girl, when in fact it was a boy. He said they pull people off the street and "train" them to do u/s's but they aren't really equipped to determine gender. He said he's only been wrong once, seventeen years ago, and it was on a 600lb. patient and ventured a guess. Basically he gave me the green light to go shopping for a dress (which I did!) I'm still in shock and not fully believing it. I want to get a 3d to double check...I couldn't take a delivery room surprise.

When you do you start feeling af coming? (updated)

I am 8dpo and I really feel crampy like af is coming (of course I did forget to take my progesterone before I went to bed last night, could kick myself but it was 62 the day after starting it so I guess it's good regardless). I get af naturally twice a year so I don't have many cycles to compare to.

So, what dpo do you usually start to feel af coming?

Update: I tested yesterday morning with dollar tree test and BFN (thought I saw a line but I think I was obsessing and I'm pretty sure it was an evap line). Well, I tested again this morning (I have several tests haha) with another dollar tree test and I was pretty sure there was a line but since it was BFN yesterday and I'm going insane, I had dh go get a 3pk of FRER. Took one today at 4pm and right away there was a pink line, not as dark as the control line but definitely there. Got really sleepy today around 2pm (same time I usually napped when pg), crampy off and on, puffy nipples (dead give away for me, always the first sign!) as well as a burning sensation when I'm out in the cold (also a dead giveaway) and I had some (TMI, sorry) ewcm kind of stuff today but it was thicker like snot or something, not a whole lot though, cp is very low closed and soft.

Only thing that is stopping me from getting excited is that I'm only 9dpo and I had a trigger shot Sunday the 8th in the am. So technically it's been 12 days since trigger, which should be plenty of time for trigger hcg to be gone, usually gone for me within 7-8 dp trigger. Maybe it was implantation cramping yesterday? I did O about 5 follies so there's a big chance that more than one fertilized and would make hcg higher earlier. I don't know...will see if the line is darker in the morning :) Oh and I have a beta scheduled for tomorrow too! Too early I think, but will ask to have a repeat Monday. I am so nervous and I talk a lot when I'm nervous lol !!!!!!

Thank you all for checking this out. I asked my tech if she would guess and she was hesitant, but did print me out some pics because I think she knew what I was up too. ;) She said she didn't see obvious boy parts, and thought she saw 3 lines at one point... but who knows? How long after failed cycle should I expect AF?

Hi Girls, As some of you may know, we cycled in October but did not transfer. I am now waiting for AF so that we can start preparing for our FET and I don't think I have ever been so anxious for AF to arrive LOL!! My RE said that my period may be a week or so late due to the fact that my own hormones need to sort themselves out. For those that have experienced the same, how long did it take for AF to arrive? Trying to plan my life around something that is completely out of my control is proving to be very difficult.....particularly coming up to christmas

I am convinced I have been feeling the baby move since 9 weeks. It's mostly when I'm sitting and not doing much. It doesn't happen often, just like once or twice a week. Anyone else think they are feeling something, or have I officially lost it?

PGD lab - Reprogenetics? 12 Probe FISH or 24 Chromosome Microarray CGH?

I am cycling locally and have estimated ER date in early Decemeber this year. I just consulted with the PGD lab, Reprogenetics, and debating between 24 Chromosome Microarray CGH, which has only done about 40 cases so far. It is a fairly new analysis that came out probably around the time GSN came out. I was told it is not as accurate as FISH method for gender detection due the method of evaluation. I was told, maybe a 90% accuracy and babies have been born yet, but pregnancy rates are high. The other method is the 12 probe FISH which has been around for a long time. It has about 99% accuracy of desired sex based on live birth statistics, but doesn't detect all the chromosomes. Decisions, decisions.... We are doing MS as well.

Going for abstinance and then a cut off??

I'm thinking of changing my plan from frequent bd from end of AF until a cut off to abstinanc and a cut off.

But how do you do this?!?

Some months I get a fade in pattern the night before my + opk....so when I see a strong fade in pattern, should that be my one attempt?

I would have a cut off of around 1.5 days...(but might even go as long as 4 days if I O late, it's rare, but could happen)

So, what do you ladies think? Go for abstinance and a 1.5 day cut off or frequent bd and a 1.5 day cut off?

Ooh, I should add that I conceive my son when bding every OTHER day from CD 10 until CD 21, and O'ed on CD 20
