  • Time to get back on the horse

We had our follow up appointment with our RE a week or two ago and it was good for closure sake. He was disappointed that our cycle did not end in a BFP and was really so wonderful about it. I really appreciated how disappointed he was. What's that...oh yes...Misery Loves company. LOL he said that my high estrogen may have made implantation difficult and that we were going to make some changes this time.

So, now the changes....No More Luveris. It pumps up estrogen which I apparently do not need any more of.

We are going to shoot for fewer eggs. Last cycle we had a total of 43, this time we will shoot for closer to 30. My RE tells me I was EXTREMELY lucky not to develop OHSS. Phew.

Now I will wait for AF and start BCPs again. I am officially a January Cycler.
